We’ve always been a build green-oriented custom home and remolding contractor. In 1976, Grendahl Construction was the first to install a whole house thermal solar panel heating system in the Sacramento region. The project was built in conjunction with the University of California, Irvine, which at the time was working to develop new technologies in energy efficiency. Since then, along with solar energy, we’ve been strong advocates for the sensible use of all the various energy and environmentally sensitive materials.
